ABOUT THE ARTIST
Alec Soth lives and works in Minneapolis, US. He has published over 25 books, and has had over 50 solo exhibitions at international museums like Deichtorhallen Hamburg, DE; Detroit Institute of Arts, US; Finnish Museum of Photography, Helsinki, FI; Fotomuseum Winterthur, CH; Jeu de Paume, Paris, FR; National Science and Media Museum, Bradford, UK; and Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, US.
Soth’s works of art are in the collections of, amongst numerous other institutions, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, US; Brooklyn Museum, US; Israel Museum, Jerusalem, IL; J. Soth is a member of Magnum Photos, and was the recipient of a 2013 Guggenheim Fellowship.
