ABOUT THE ARTIST
El Anatsui was born in Ghana, and lives and works between Ghana and Nigeria. His works of art are included in numerous private and public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Museum of Modern Art, New York; Centre Pompidou, Paris; Los Angeles County Museum of Art, California; Akron Art Museum, Ohio; St. Louis Art Museum, Missouri; Museum Kunstpalast, Düsseldorf; Setagaya Museum, Tokyo; and British Museum, London.
