Jitish Kallat lives and works in Mumbai, IN. He has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions around the world, including “Return to Sender” at the Frist Art Museum, Nashville, TN; “Here After Here (1992-2017)” at the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, IN; “Covering Letter” at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, PA; and “Public Notice 2” at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney, AU. The artist has also been included in important group exhibitions at, amongst other venues, the Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide; Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, Oso, NO; San Jose Museum of Art, CA; Singapore Art Museum, SG; and UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing, CN.
